We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to support the daily operations of our Nursery. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children, while assisting the management team in delivering high-quality childcare. Duties
- Assist the Manager in overseeing daily centre operations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Support the planning and implementation of educational programmes tailored to children's developmental needs.
- Supervise and motivate staff members, fostering a positive team environment focused on professional growth.
- Engage with children to promote their social, emotional, and cognitive development through organised activities.
- Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and centre updates.
- Ensure health and safety standards are consistently met, including risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.
- Support recruitment, training, and performance management of nursery staff as required.
- Drive centre initiatives to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in management or leadership within a nursery setting.
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and child development stages.
- Demonstrable experience working with children, particularly in nursery or preschool environments.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team whilst demonstrating leadership qualities.
- Organised, proactive, with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
