Multitask are currently recruiting Recycling Operatives to join a busy and fast-paced recycling facility based in Whittle-le-Woods.
This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals who enjoy practical work, are comfortable working in an industrial environment, and want to contribute to a company focused on sustainability, recycling, and waste reduction.
The Role
As a Recycling Operative, you will play an important part in the day-to-day running of the recycling plant, ensuring materials are processed safely, efficiently, and in line with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and sorting recyclable materials from conveyor belts
- General labouring duties and site groundwork
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
- Assisting with the movement and processing of materials
- Carrying out manual tasks including lifting, sweeping, and shovelling
- Working safely around machinery and plant equipment
- Following all site health and safety procedures at all times
This is a physically demanding role within an industrial environment, and candidates must be comfortable carrying out manual work throughout their shift.
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals who:
- Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Can work effectively as part of a team
- Are physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
- Are punctual, dependable, and safety-conscious
- Have previous experience in a labouring, recycling, warehouse, or manufacturing environment (desirable but not essential)
Shift Information
Monday to Friday
Rotating Shift Pattern:
- 7:00am – 4:00pm
- 2:00pm – 10:00pm
Alternative Night Shift Available:
