We are a friendly family of four based in Exeter looking for a reliable, organised and proactive Household Assistant to help keep our home running smoothly.
The role is varied and may include:
- General cleaning and tidying
- Laundry, washing and ironing
- Keeping the kitchen clean and organised
- Bathroom cleaning
- Preparing simple, healthy family meals
- Running the occasional household errand
- Other day-to-day household tasks as needed
There may also be the occasional school pick up for our two primary school aged children from their school, which is just a five minute walk from our home. This is not an essential part of the role, but would be helpful if you’re happy to do it from time to time.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is trustworthy, dependable and takes pride in their work
- Has previous housekeeping or household assistant experience (preferred)
- Can work independently and use their initiative
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Enjoys cooking simple, healthy meals
- Has the right to work in the UK
Hours: Approximately 8–10hours per week (flexible and to be agreed).
Pay: £18 per hour
