The Gatsby Benchmarks are a set of eight criteria for quality career education in secondary and tertiary institutions. They serve as the foundation upon which the Careers Plan rests, guaranteeing high-quality career education in schools.
This role will play a key role in delivering Careers, Education, information, advice, and guidance (CEIAG) to Post 16 students, many of whom have Education Health Care plans in place.
The role will also secure and manage meaningful work experience placements for students attending ETF and co-ordinate and support access to work applications and health passports with the DWP.

About you:
You will be educated to a Level 6 Careers Information Advice and Guidance (Desirable) or Level 4 is considered for candidates with significant experience of National Careers Service delivery (Essential).
You will have excellent interpersonal skills, a commitment to achieve targets by working with individuals to progress towards employment, learning or career progression.
You will be a motivational advisor able to build positive relationships, guide, inspire and encourage individuals create and sustain employment and learning opportunities.
Essential qulaificiations :
Level 4 Careers Information Advice and Guidance
Level 2 Literacy & Numeracy or equivalent.
Desirable qualificiation/skills :
Level 6 Careers Information Advice and Guidance
Experience and skills:
- Good working knowledge of the local labour market
- Experience of delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards
- Excellent time management
- Excellent ICT skill to include Microsoft TEAMS
- Ability to inspire and motivate
