Responsibilities
- Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in accordance with relevant regulations and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform repairs efficiently to minimise downtime.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to complete installations accurately.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation and maintenance tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety legislation, maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
- Keep detailed records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and replacements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, as well as power tools including drills and saws.
- Strong electrical experience with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ in Electrical Installation or equivalent recognised certification.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude towards troubleshooting issues.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or collaboratively within a team environment.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in completing tasks efficiently and safely.

Pay: £60.00-£80.00 per hour
