Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Site Fitter to join our steel erection team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, assembling, and fitting various structural components on-site, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in structural steel fitting and trades to contribute to diverse building projects while developing their skills further.
Duties
- Interpret technical drawings and plans to accurately execute fitting task
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation processes
- Fabricate and modify materials on-site to meet project specifications
- Perform welding and fabricating tasks where necessary
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to maintain a secure working environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within designated timeframes
- Conduct quality checks on installed fittings to ensure compliance with standards
Qualifications
- CSCS card
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
- IPAF
- PASMA
- Physical fitness to handle demanding on-site tasks and lift heavy materials safely
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction trades are advantageous but not essential
- Full Driving License

Pay: £16.50-£20.00 per hour
