We are looking for a Skilled Labourer / Multi‑Trade Operative to join our growing team to support us in delivering a rapidly growing number of projects. Our projects vary from single‑room refurbishments to full‑house renovations and complex structural work, so no two projects are the same.
What you will be doing:
You will support our tradespeople on refurbishments, extensions, structural alterations and high‑end renovations throughout South Wales. This hands‑on role is ideal for someone with a broad range of building skills who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and wants to develop within a supportive company.
Your responsibilities will include:
- General building and maintenance – assist with structural alterations, repair works and property maintenance following the guidance from the site supervisor.
- Multi‑trade tasks – carry out or assist with carpentry, plastering, basic plumbing, paving, roofing, groundworks, block/brickwork and site preparation as required.
- Site organisation – load and unload materials, set up work areas and maintain tidy, safe sites. Operate hand and power tools safely and follow health & safety procedures.
- Teamwork & communication – work closely with site supervisors, tradespeople and subcontractors to ensure projects run smoothly and deadlines are met. Provide excellent customer service on occupied sites.
- Quality & safety – take pride in producing high‑quality work, adhere to site safety rules and support a culture of cleanliness and organisation.
What you MUST bring
- Proven experience in a multi‑skilled labouring or maintenance role, with good knowledge of general building and construction.
- Strong work ethic – reliable, punctual and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Attention to detail – meticulous workmanship and commitment to safe working practices.
- Full UK driving licence (or ability to travel to sites across South Wales).
- Physical fitness– able to perform manual labour, handle materials and use tools safely.
- Eligibility to work in the UK and good communication skills.
What’s Desirable
- Experience in specific trades such as groundworks, block/bricklaying, carpentry, plastering, tiling, or roofing.
- Own set of basic tools (advantageous but not essential).
- Ability to read plans and follow written and verbal instructions, with a proactive and problem‑solving attitude.
