The successful candidate will:

Carry out cleaning tasks as set out in the academy’s cleaning schedule.
- Use cleaning materials and equipment safely and appropriately, following all instructions and specifications.
- Take initiative to complete additional cleaning or tidying tasks that support high standards across the academy.
- Follow all health, safety and security requirements.
- Complete any required records or documentation.
- Maintain positive working relationships with academy staff and adapt to reasonable changes in daily routines to support smooth operations.
- Ensure all work meets required standards and undertake training as needed.
Essential requirements

Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations relating to cleaning equipment and the safe dilution of cleaning materials.
- Understanding of COSHH and safe chemical use.
- Knowledge of cleaning best practice.
- Experience of carrying out a range of cleaning duties.
- Ability to work in an organised, methodical way.
- Ability to use initiative and respond to unexpected issues.
