About The Crocky Trail
The Crocky Trail is a unique outdoor adventure park offering exciting rides, thrilling slides, and fun obstacle courses. We are committed to providing a safe, enjoyable, and well-maintained environment for all visitors. Our team is looking for a skilled Maintenance Person to help keep the park and its facilities in top condition all year round.
Role Overview
As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, and repair of both onsite and offsite facilities. This includes working on our adventure play structures, rides, trails, and general infrastructure. The role involves a variety of tasks, from carpentry and basic electrical work to plumbing and landscaping, ensuring the park remains safe and well-maintained for visitors and staff.
This Role will also involve Construction and Fabrication of new Facilities and Attraction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on rides, play structures, fences, and park facilities.
- Conduct routine safety inspections to ensure compliance with park standards.
- Assist with new installations, construction projects, and park upgrades.
- Carry out basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry work.
- Landscaping duties, including clearing pathways, trimming hedges, and maintaining outdoor spaces.
- Complete offsite maintenance work as required using company vehicles.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain and repair staff facilities, kitchens, restrooms, and storage areas.
- Respond to urgent maintenance issues and carry out emergency repairs.
Requirements & Skills
- Full UK Driving Licence (Required) – Company vehicles provided for work-related travel.
- Experience in fabrication and Welding
- Proven experience in maintenance, handyman, or trades work.
- Good knowledge of basic repairs, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
- Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays
