We are currently looking for a part-time Sales Assistant to join our friendly team. The ideal candidate will have a positive, can do attitude, enjoy working with people, and be eager to learn.
Previous retail experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
Hours of work:
Approximately 2 flexible shifts per week from 15.30pm onwards weekdays and 09.00am onwards at weekends.
Days and hours to be agreed at interview based on your availability and the needs of the business.
This role includes the sale of age restricted products therefore, applicants must be aged 18 or over.
Duties:
- Till operation
- Stock replenishment and rotation
- General housekeeping and maintaining store standards
- Providing excellent customer service
- Accepting and checking deliveries
- Processing Paypoint and National Lottery transactions
- Sale of age restricted goods
- Cash reconciliation and balancing tills
- Following cash handling and security procedures

- Confident handling and reconciling cash

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
