Registered Children's Home Manager for a 3 bedroom EBD Home (12-18 years old), located between Southall / Greenford tube stations London, MUST be Level 5 in Health and Social Care (Childcare) / Leadership and Management , and have recent UK experience in residential Children's Home, as either confident Deputy Manager or Manager, you must be knowledgeable with Ofsted inspections and worked in a home which has a minimum 'Good' rating. Key days and hours are Monday - Friday, 9-5pm , 'on call' every other weekend.
Requirements:
- Minimum recent 2 years experience as a UK Residential Children's Home Manager / Deputy Manager - Essential
- Level 5 in Health and Social Care (Childcare) / Level 5 in Leadership and Management - Essential
- Have managed a Children's Home with a minimum 'Good' rating.
Key Duties:
- Manage and supervise the home and a team of staff, keeping staff motivated.
- Work alongside the current Deputy Manager and report to the owner.
- Plan for Ofsted inspections and follow the process, maintain minimum of 'good'.
- Increase occupancy , currently one bedroom is empty and maintain occupancy levels.
- Ability to manage any incidents which may take place in the home in an effective and calm manner.
- Be on call every other weekend.
- Manage compliance and regulations
