The Role
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Assistant Cook to join our kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about food, and able to work well in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Hours will be variable dependant on season and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef in the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals and menu’s
- Support daily kitchen operations, including breakfast, lunch, and event service
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
- Follow all health and safety and food hygiene regulations
About You
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment (preferred but not essential)
- A passion for cooking and hospitality
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and events
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Relevant food hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain)
