Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Cleaning Manager to oversee cleaning operations across multiple sites within the region. Duties
- Manage and supervise regional cleaning teams, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and quality assurance procedures.
- Coordinate with site managers to ensure cleaning operations align with operational needs and safety regulations.
- Monitor performance metrics and conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Oversee procurement of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effective utilisation.
- Analyse operational data to identify areas for process optimisation and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all sites.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams on equipment servicing and repairs related to cleaning machinery or systems.
- Prepare reports on operational performance, staff utilisation, and compliance for senior management.
Skills
- Proven management experience within a cleaning or facilities management environment.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple sites simultaneously.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and electrical systems relevant to cleaning machinery is advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience supervising teams and fostering professional development.
- Mechanical knowledge related to cleaning equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Electrical experience is desirable for overseeing equipment repairs or upgrades.
- Excellent organisational skills with an eye for detail in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and understanding technical documentation related to mechanical or electrical systems.
