We are recruiting a Development Apprentice to join our Partnerships Team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in development while working towards a degree-level apprenticeship in the built environment.
At Chime Housing we provide vital services that help people to live better lives. Our Partnerships Team plays a key role in delivering new, high-quality homes for rent and sale across our communities.
We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Development Apprentice who is keen to start a career in development, learn on the job, and contribute to the delivery of new homes that make a real difference.
To undertake a degree apprenticeship while supporting the Partnerships Team in the appraisal, delivery and completion of new home developments, contributing to high performance and successful project outcomes.
Key Accountabilities:

Supporting the appraisal and viability assessment of new home development opportunities

Assisting with the delivery of new homes for rent and sale, including handovers to operational teams

Supporting customer communication and engagement with local stakeholders and residents

Assisting with procurement activities, supply chain payments and general project administration

Helping to monitor cashflow and produce periodic reports

Taking part in team, project and programme meetings

Supporting wider team activities and corporate events
Essential:
-
GCSEs at Grade 4 or above in Maths and English Language

Minimum of 96 UCAS points

A demonstrable interest in development or the built environment

Confident using Microsoft Office applications

Positive and adaptable, with a willingness to learn

Self-motivated, organised and reliable

A good communicator and team player, able to use initiative

Full UK driving licence and access to a car
Desirable:

Any experience, study or work exposure related to construction, housing or development
