Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning, demonstrating a strong work ethic and attention to detail. This position offers flexible hours suitable for those seeking part-time employment with a focus on delivering high-quality cleaning services.
Working at 4 different locations in the DE11 area and 1 in every 4 weekends at DE15 area (DE15 job is only seasonal for 6 months of the year )
Job 1 - 2 days a week Tuesday /Thursday working 6.30am to 9.30am
Job 2 - 5 days Monday to Friday working 15.30pm to 17.30pm
Job 3 - 2 days a week Tuesday/Thursday 5.00am to 6.00am
You will be required to work 1 in 4 weekends in the DE15 area
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, washrooms, and communal areas
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment
- Restock cleaning supplies and toiletries as necessary
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are emptied regularly
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and efficiently
- Attention to detail to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards
- Ability to work flexibly during scheduled shifts, maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
Pay: £12.71 per hour
