Blossom Tree Ladybugs Nursery is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Nursery Apprentice to join our supportive and dedicated team. This apprenticeship provides an excellent opportunity to develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required for a career in early years education and childcare while working towards a recognised qualification.
The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality care and learning experiences for children, helping to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Support nursery practitioners in providing high standards of care, learning, and development for all children.
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children's learning and development.
- Help maintain a safe, secure, clean, and healthy environment in line with nursery policies and procedures.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents/carers, and colleagues.
- Support children's daily care routines, including feeding, nappy changing, toileting, and encouraging independence.
- Observe and respond appropriately to children's individual needs and interests.
- Contribute ideas to activity planning and learning opportunities.
- Ensure all health and safety, safeguarding, and environmental health requirements are followed at all times.
- Work effectively as part of the nursery team to support the smooth day-to-day operation of the setting.
- Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion, ensuring every child feels valued and supported.
- Participate in training, meetings, and apprenticeship learning activities as required.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of the role.
Pay: £15,600.00 per year
