About Us
The Education Network is a trusted provider of 1–1 tuition across Cheshire, working closely with schools, local authorities and alternative provisions to support young people who benefit from a more personalised approach to education.

A More Personalised Approach
Rather than managing large classes or groups, you'll have the opportunity to support a handful of carefully selected students (all on a one to one basis) , allowing you to make a genuine difference through meaningful relationships and tailored learning.
We aim to match students with Tutors whose experience, personality and strengths best suit their individual needs, enabling you to use your skills and qualities to have the greatest impact.
The Students You'll Support
You may work with young people who:
- Are currently disengaged from education.
- Have mild to moderate SEN or SEMH needs.
- Require additional emotional or behavioural support.
- Need help rebuilding confidence and self-esteem.
- Benefit from a calm, consistent and nurturing approach.
- Respond positively to strong relationships and personalised learning.
- Need support to re-engage with learning and achieve their potential.
The Role
You will:
- Deliver 1–1 tuition to students aged 11–16.
- Plan engaging, personalised lessons tailored to individual needs.
- Build trust and positive relationships with students who may have barriers to learning.
- Help young people overcome anxieties and regain confidence in education.
- Adapt your teaching approach to suit different learning styles.
- Deliver sessions in local libraries and, occasionally, students' homes (all fully risk assessed).
- Typically provide sessions lasting between 1–2 hours.
Who This Role Would Suit
We're looking for someone who is:
- Patient and understanding.
- Adaptable and flexible in their approach.
- Empathetic and relationship-focused.
- Confident in building rapport with young people.
- Passionate about helping students overcome barriers to learning.
- Skilled at creating engaging and motivating sessions.
- Able to remain calm and positive when faced with challenges.
- Looking to work closely with a small number of students where they can make a real and lasting difference.

- Ability to plan engaging 1–1 sessions and help students overcome anxieties around learning.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- Access to your own transport.
- Ability to travel locally between sessions.
