This is an exciting opportunity to join Hurford Salvi Carr, one of Central London's most established independent estate agencies, as a Property Apprentice.
Unlike many office-based roles, this position offers a varied and hands-on working environment. You will spend time out and about across London, meeting applicants, accompanying property viewings and learning every aspect of the lettings and property management industry.
Working alongside experienced property professionals, you will gain a 360-degree understanding of the residential property sector, with exposure to lettings, tenancy progression, customer service, compliance and property management. Throughout your apprenticeship, you will receive structured training and support, with the long-term goal of progressing into a permanent role within our Lettings or Property Management teams.
You will learn while earning in one of London's most dynamic property markets, gaining exposure to some of the capital's most distinctive homes, from historic warehouse conversions to luxury penthouses.
The role is complemented by the TACS Advanced Level 3 Apprenticeship in Housing & Property Management, allowing you to gain a recognised qualification whilst earning and developing valuable industry experience.

No previous property experience is required. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in developing a long-term career within the property industry.
A driving licence is not required for this role.
Key Responsibilities
· Registering new applicants, understanding their requirements and accurately recording information on the company's systems.
· Responding to enquiries, building relationships with applicants and assisting with the booking and coordination of property viewings.
· Accompanying experienced Lettings Negotiators on viewings and, as your confidence and knowledge develop, conducting viewings independently.
· Assisting with tenancy progression, preparing tenancy files and ensuring all documentation is completed in accordance with company procedures
· Providing administrative support to the lettings team, including record keeping, data entry and diary management.
· Learning about key areas of industry legislation and regulatory compliance, including Anti-Money Laundering Regulations, Right to Rent requirements and Data Protection legislation
· Communicating effectively with colleagues across all departments to ensure a high level of customer service.
· Work with our Property Management team to understand property maintenance and real-time problem-solving.
· Assisting with marketing activities, including requesting customer testimonials, arranging property marketing materials, distributing promotional literature and supporting local canvassing initiatives.
Career Development
This apprenticeship is designed as the first step in a long-term career within residential property. Upon successful completion, there will be opportunities to progress into roles within our Lettings or Property Management teams, with ongoing training and professional development.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
Additional Earnings: Opportunities to earn commission following successful completion of initial training and achievement of agreed performance milestones.

Pay: £23,000.00 per year
