Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Van Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent communication with clients and team members. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the efficient operation of our delivery services.
Duties
- Safely operate company delivery vans to transport goods to designated destinations
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet scheduled deadlines
- Load and unload items, including handling heavy lifting when necessary
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and in good condition
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status or delays
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies throughout the shift
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is preferred
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Experience working in warehouse environments or logistics is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Familiarity with route planning tools or GPS devices is beneficial

Pay: £105.00-£125.00 per day
