Want a change from working 70 hours a week in terrible conditions with constant evening work. Regis Banqueting are a quality outside event based catering company delivering an average of 200 Weddings per year, along with Corporate Events and Function throughout Scotland.
We are currently looking for a talented and enthusiastic Production Chef to work within the banqueting kitchen and on various events.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within quality hotels, banqueting venues or outside caterers.
You will be passionate about food, have a can do attitude and have an eye for detail.
Position involves working 5 days a week out of 7 with prominently Sundays off, during the week mainly prep work required in central production kitchen based in Cumbernauld doing 8 - 5 with a 40 hour week. We pay hourly with contracted 40 hour contract so any additional hours worked you get paid for.
Daytime hours mid-week approximately 8-5 with a long shift on a Saturday and another midweek doing event/ function or tastings doing wedding and events
Straight Shifts, guarantee 40+ hours per week
Job Requirements:
- Work with a high level of attention to detail
- Ensure minimum wastage
- To be aware of and strictly adhere to hygiene and food safety standards as laid down by the company and legal requirements
- Maintain high levels of hygiene in working practice
- Ensure stock is controlled and rotated. Accept and store deliveries
- Assist the Senior Chefs in creating and maintaining high quality food standards

What we need from you:
- 3-4 years minimum experience within catering
- Valid food hygiene certificate in line with Hospitality and Catering Industry standards
- Your own knives and whites, including safety shoes
- A minimum of 2 references before you start work
- Full driving Licence required
