Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Older Peoples Project Coordinator to lead and manage initiatives aimed at enhancing the wellbeing and social inclusion of older adults within the community. Duties
- Develop, plan, and coordinate programmes tailored to the needs of older adults, ensuring accessibility and engagement.
- Supervise staff and volunteers involved in project delivery, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of service.
- Manage project budgets, monitor progress, and evaluate outcomes to ensure objectives are met effectively.
- Lead on marketing activities, including social media management, to promote programmes and increase community participation.
- Organise fundraising events and develop partnerships with local organisations to secure resources and support.
- Oversee administrative tasks such as reporting, record-keeping, and compliance with organisational policies.
- Facilitate workshops or educational sessions related to health, wellbeing, or social activities for older people.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, including local authorities, healthcare providers, and community groups.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in community projects or similar settings.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster collaboration.
- Experience in marketing and social media management to effectively promote programmes.
- Fundraising expertise to develop sustainable financial support for initiatives.
- Excellent administrative skills with attention to detail in reporting and record keeping.
