Welder Fabricator / Site Engineer
Location: Nottinghamshire (NG14 7HD)
Salary: Up to £17.16 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Minimum 42.5 hours per week plus overtime
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who enjoys variety in their work. The role combines workshop-based steel fabrication with on-site installation and mechanical repair work, offering a different challenge every week.
MIG welding and steel fabrication within a busy workshop environment.
Installation and fitting of fabricated steelwork on customer sites.
Carrying out mechanical repairs and engineering tasks as required.
Working independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service.
Proven MIG welding experience (essential).
Previous site fitting and engineering experience preferred.
Familiarity with steel fabrication workshop equipment and processes.
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
Good customer service and communication skills.
Full UK driving licence and own transport essential.
Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of NG14 7HD.
Competitive pay of up to £17.16 per hour, dependent on experience.
