Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dry Liner / Ceiling Fixer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing dry lining, ceilings, and related finishes on various building projects. Responsibilities
- Installing dry lining boards, plasterboard, and ceiling systems in accordance with project specifications
- Fixing ceiling panels using appropriate fasteners and adhesives
- Ensuring precise measurements and cuts to fit various wall and ceiling configurations
- Applying finishing techniques such as jointing, sanding, and sealing to achieve smooth surfaces
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
- Reading , technical drawings, and construction plans to accurately execute tasks
- Assisting with the fabrication of custom components when required
Requirements
- Proven experience in dry lining, ceiling fixing, or related interior finishing trades
- Knowledge of roofing, plastering, masonry, carpentry, and general construction practices is desirable
- Familiarity with hand tools such as trowels, knives, levels, and measuring tapes; experience with power tools is essential
- Basic understanding of and technical drawings for accurate installation
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
