Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader Arborist to oversee and coordinate tree care and maintenance operations. The successful candidate will lead a team in delivering high-quality horticultural services, ensuring safety standards are met while maintaining the health and aesthetics of trees and landscaped areas. Duties
- Lead and supervise a team of arborists and landscape maintenance staff in daily operations.
- Plan and execute tree pruning, felling, planting, and health assessments.
- Operate and maintain power tools, hand tools, excavators, and other machinery safely and efficiently.
- Oversee the use of irrigation systems, ensuring proper installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Conduct site inspections to identify hazards or issues related to trees or landscape features.
- Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist with specialised tasks such as construction of supports or cabling for trees, gardening, horticulture activities, and general landscape maintenance.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, equipment used, and materials supplied.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, horticulture or arboriculture.
- Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, excavators, irrigation systems, and other landscaping equipment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Good understanding of safety procedures relevant to tree work and landscape operations.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in arboriculture or horticulture are desirable.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Physical fitness suitable for manual labour tasks involved in tree care and landscape maintenance.

- Over 25 and clean driving license
Pay: £160.00-£200.00 per day
