Care Manager (RGN)
£48,600 per annum | 36 Hours Per Week | RGN Required

We're looking for an experienced Registered Care Manager to lead a well-established, Good CQC-rated nursing home providing high-quality nursing care for a small number of older adults. Purpose-built and thoughtfully designed around the needs of its residents, the home offers a welcoming and supportive environment where person-centred care is at the heart of everything.

What We're Looking For
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC PIN
- Previous experience within a nursing home setting
- Experience as a Registered Manager, Care Manager, or similar leadership role
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience leading, developing, and motivating care teams
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- Strong knowledge of care planning, medication management, and safeguarding practices
- Commitment to delivering exceptional person-centred care
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the nursing home, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained
- Lead, support, and develop the care team, promoting a positive and professional working culture
- Conduct assessments and ensure personalised care plans accurately reflect residents' needs
- Oversee medication management and ensure safe administration practices are followed
- Monitor care quality, compliance, and resident outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with CQC and regulatory requirements
- Support recruitment, induction, supervision, and ongoing development of staff
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the service
