We are looking for a Lift Repair Engineer to join our team at the Midlands Regional office. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a well-established company that values expertise, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

Main Duties:
- Repair & Callout Response: Undertake repair duties and attend callouts as required, ensuring timely fault resolution and minimal disruption to customer operations.
- Minor to Major Repairs & Upgrades: Carry out a range of works from minor component repairs to full lift upgrades, including controllers/rewires, door operators, valve blocks, and complete hydraulic tank replacements.
- Maintenance & Servicing: Perform maintenance and repair activities across all types of goods, passenger, and service lifts, ensuring equipment operates safely and reliably.
- Defect Reporting & Improvement: Identify and report service or repair requirements and equipment defects, supporting continuous improvement in lift performance and safety standards.
- Supplementary Testing Support: Work collaboratively with Field Engineers to complete supplementary testing and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- On-Call Participation: Actively participate in the defined regional on-call rota, providing out-of-hours support when required.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Conform to and promote best practice in Health and Safety at all times, following safe systems of work.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside Engineers and Trainee Engineers as directed, offering support and sharing technical knowledge where appropriate.
- Customer Liaison: Liaise professionally with customers on site, providing updates and ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
Person specification:
- Technical Qualification: Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or above (or equivalent) in a lift engineering discipline, demonstrating recognised technical competency.
- Customer Focus: Committed to delivering high levels of customer service, maintaining professionalism and responsiveness on site.
- Systems Proficiency: Competent in using company handheld devices and service management systems to record works accurately and in real time.
- Organisation & Workload Management: Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload effectively.
- Commitment to Training: Willingness to attend and complete company training to maintain and enhance technical knowledge and compliance standards.
- Driving Licence & Mobility: Hold a full, clean UK driving licence and be willing to travel as required to fulfil regional responsibilities.
