Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Prior experience in hotel or hospitality settings is highly desirable, along with janitorial expertise. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a professional and friendly environment while developing your skills within the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, public areas, and staff facilities to the highest standards
- Change bed linens, replenish supplies, and ensure all areas are tidy and organised
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and tubs
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment
- Restock cleaning supplies and equipment as needed
- Assist with laundry duties when required
- Adhere to company policies regarding hygiene standards and confidentiality
Skills
- Previous experience in a care home environment is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Knowledge of janitorial practices and cleaning techniques
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills and a positive professional attitude
- Ability to work efficiently within a team setting
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
