teach195. is currently recruiting Secondary Supply Teachers to work across a variety of Secondary Schools throughout Manchester and the surrounding areas. We are supporting schools with day-to-day cover, short-term placements and long-term opportunities across a range of subjects and year groups.

The Role
As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will deliver lessons across a range of subjects and key stages, ensuring continuity of learning during teacher absences. Opportunities are available across a variety of school environments and may include daily supply, short-term assignments, long-term placements and potential permanent opportunities.
Roles are available across multiple subject areas including, but not limited to, English, Maths, Science, Humanities, PE, Design Technology, Modern Foreign Languages and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons in line with school policies and curriculum expectations
- Follow lesson plans provided by schools or plan and prepare lessons for longer-term assignments
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Differentiate learning to support pupils of varying abilities and needs
- Monitor and assess student progress where required
- Build positive working relationships with students, staff and wider school communities
- Adapt quickly to different schools, departments and classroom environments
- Uphold safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times
What We Are Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching within UK Secondary Schools
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable approach to working in different educational settings
- Ability to teach your specialist subject area and confidently deliver cover where required
- Professional, organised and reliable approach to work
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
