Opportunity to work at Olivers BabyCare Shop, the specialist baby products retailer serving Bourne, Peterborough, Stamford, Spalding, Deepings, and miles around. Olivers BabyCare is Official Stockist for Silver Cross, ICandy, Cybex, Maxi-Cosi, Joie, Axkid, Recaro and other top brands. Staff deliver unbiased consultancy advice and support including car seat fitting and appropriate baby travel products.
The Role
We’re looking for a friendly, confident, people friendly person to join our team on Saturdays. This is a hands‑on retail role where you’ll be guiding customers through important baby products purchasing decisions—pushchairs, car seats, furniture, and other baby essentials.
You don’t need prior baby‑product experience; we’ll teach you everything. What matters most is your personality and your ability to make customers feel welcome, supported, and understood.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and offer empathetic, knowledgeable support
- Demonstrate & compare products explaining features clearly
- Help multigeneration families choose the right items for their needs and budget
- Maintain a tidy, organised showroom
- Support the team with general retail & customer service tasks
