Compass Associates are delighted to be partnering with an ambitious and growing luxury elderly care provider in the appointment of a Head of Sales & Marketing. Operating across a small portfolio of premium care homes along the South Coast, this organisation has established an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality care and hospitality while maintaining a personalised, resident-focused approach. As the group continues its growth journey, they are now seeking an experienced commercial leader to develop and lead their sales and marketing function.
This is a rare opportunity to join the business at an exciting stage of its development and play a pivotal role in shaping its future success. Reporting directly into the executive leadership team, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the organisation's sales, marketing and business development strategy, driving occupancy growth, strengthening brand awareness and building sustainable referral networks across the region.

making a visible impact within a growing organisation.
The Candidate
We are seeking an experienced sales, marketing or business development professional who has operated at Head of Sales, Head of Marketing, Commercial Director, Business Development Director or similar senior level within the care, healthcare, hospitality or premium service sectors.
The successful candidate will be comfortable operating autonomously whilst influencing stakeholders across the organisation. You will bring both strategic capability and a hands-on approach, recognising that this role requires someone who can create the commercial vision whilst also delivering activity on the ground.
Experience within the elderly care sector would be highly advantageous, particularly within private-pay environments. However, we would also welcome applications from candidates with a proven track record of driving growth within luxury hospitality, retirement living, healthcare or other premium customer-focused sectors.
Requirements
- Proven experience within a senior sales, marketing or commercial leadership role.
- Demonstrable track record of driving occupancy growth, revenue generation and commercial performance.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, lead generation and brand development.
- Experience building relationships with commissioners, healthcare stakeholders and local communities.
- Commercially astute with excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience implementing and managing CRM systems and sales processes.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working within a standalone leadership role.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across Hampshire, Surrey and the South Coast.
