About the Role Zen Educate is looking for enthusiastic and committed Primary Teachers to work in schools across Mansfield and the surrounding Nottinghamshire area. This role offers the opportunity to teach in a variety of primary settings, supporting pupils’ learning and development while creating a positive and engaging classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the primary curriculum.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and support where needed.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff.
- Communicate with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and wellbeing.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching within a primary school setting (EYFS, KS1 or KS2).
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Ability to adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
- A positive and flexible approach to teaching.
Desirable
- Experience across multiple year groups.
- Knowledge of current UK primary curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Experience supporting pupils with additional learning needs.
