Who are you?
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is confident in their ability to work autonomously selling media space and sponsorship, while creating a sales strategy to develop new and existing business opportunities. You will have experience in sales and account management – experience in the health and social care sector is a bonus. You will be willing to build on existing client relationships as well as seeking out new business opportunities in the sector. This role is ideal for somebody who wants to build an invaluable client base.
Job Overview
To manage the sales for several publishing product areas, print, digital and events, and to have the skill set to develop a commercial strategy to move the business forward. Forming relationships with clients is essential and this role combines account management with business development.
Job Function Tasks and Responsibilities
. To manage the complete sales process
o Production of sales campaigns
o contacting existing clients,
o producing proposals
o signing of contracts and getting purchase order when required
o chasing all required material
o Working with finance on invoicing and credit control
o Account management and building relationships
o Produce regular sales reports
o Keeping the CRM updated
o Working with business heads on strategy
Experience Required
- You have experience in a previous advertising/sponsorship sales role, particularly if it relates to the health and social care sector
- You have a strong understanding of advertising and marketing principals.
- You can build strong relationships with clients, including media buyers and account managers
- You are self-motivated, results-driven, and able to meet deadlines.
- You’ll be at an advantage if you understand the care and health sectors.
