About the Role
We are currently recruiting qualified SEN Teachers (QTS) to work across a range of primary and secondary schools in Manchester from September 2026. We have opportunities available in both mainstream and specialist SEN settings, offering a variety of roles to suit your experience and preference.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated teacher who is committed to supporting pupils with additional needs, including Autism, SEMH, and a range of learning difficulties.
Roles may include short-term cover, long-term placements, and temp-to-perm opportunities across multiple schools.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons to meet SEN needs
- Teach across primary or secondary age ranges depending on placement
- Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEN and SEMH
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress
- Work collaboratively with support staff, SEN teams, and external professionals
- Implement strategies to support behaviour, communication, and emotional development
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Experience working with SEN pupils in either primary or secondary settings
- Strong understanding of SEND strategies and inclusive teaching practice
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Adaptable, resilient, and committed to supporting individual pupil needs
- Ability to work effectively across different school environments
