Security Engineer (Access Control, Intruder Alarm & CCTV) Role and Responsibilities:
- Installing, servicing, and maintaining a variety of security systems including CCTV, intruder alarms and access control
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting faults in security systems, performing repairs, and carrying out system upgrades as necessary.
- Providing clear and concise documentation of work completed, including service reports and system logs.
- Offering professional customer service and advice to clients on the use and maintenance of installed security systems.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols
Security Engineer (Access Control, Intruder Alarm & CCTV) Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience as a Security Systems Engineer or in a similar role within the security industry.
- In-depth knowledge of security systems including CCTV, intruder alarms & access control
- Relevant certifications and qualifications are desirable.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Valid UK driver’s licence or equivalent.
- Familiarity with relevant UK regulations and safety standards for security systems.
