Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated factory helper to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises & to help in both departments which include our raw production side & our smoked production side. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike.
Duties
- Perform cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, jet washing, and disinfecting surfaces in designated areas.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management.
- Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members to meet specific cleaning requirements.
- Assist with specialised cleaning projects as required.
- Maintain organised work areas and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently within scheduled times.
- Learn both roles in our raw production & smoke Production area.
Experience
- Previous experience in cleaning & production is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Customer service experience is advantageous, especially when interacting with visitors.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to organisational standards.
