The Role
Support fee earning staff and ensure a seamless quality of service for clients within the Actions Against the Police Department.
Key responsibilities & duties:
- To obtain documentation from client's to ensure sufficient information to draft a letter of claim.
- Drafting of letters of claim
- Obtaining Expert Evidence
- Drafting of statements / pleadings.
- To be able to understand and review particulars of claim, defences and subsequent proceedings to draft a detailed statement
- Prepare answers to routine questions.
- Set up and maintain electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, and other material.
- Conduct searches to find needed information, using such sources as the Internet.
- Learn to operate new office technologies as they are developed and implemented.
- Manage projects, and contribute to committee and team work.
- Operate email systems

Person Specification
· Law Graduate and either completed the SQE/LPC or due to commence the SQE
· Good typing skills
· Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
· Good organisational skills
· A team worker
