Mental Health Clinical Pharmacist | North East | Field-Based
Combine hands-on clinical pharmacy with training delivery in a flexible, field-based role supporting independent mental health hospitals and clinics across the North East.
The role:
- Weekly visits to client sites – clinical advice and prescription chart reviews
- Attend ward rounds and MDTs where agreed with sites
- Monitor controlled drugs and audit medicines management standards
- Conduct medicines management audits and deliver findings to site teams
- Deliver training on medicines safety and medicines management to clinical and care teams
- Support additional client clinics as needed, covering specialities such as ophthalmology, with medicines management standards
- Remote on-call support – approx. one week, 3 times a year, up to 10pm (no overnight or on-site cover)
What you'll need:
- 1–2 years post-registration experience
- Experience in a mental health hospital environment is ideal, but not essential
- Strong clinical skills and a passion for mental health
- Confidence working independently
- Car and valid driving licence

Salary: £49,920+ (FTE, DOE)
