Pantheavalley Ltd is seeking a motivated Care Manager to support the day to day running of our newly opening residential care home in Ilford. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work at management level, with a clear pathway to progress into a Registered Manager position, subject to performance and development.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with senior care experience who is looking to develop their leadership skills within a supportive and growing service.

Key Responsibilities:
Care & Support
- Deliver and oversee safe, effective, and person centred care
- Support the development, implementation, and regular review of care plans
- Promote dignity, independence, choice, and respect at all times
- Support individuals with a range of needs, including learning disabilities and mental health
Team Leadership
- Supervise and support care staff on shift
- Assist with staff induction, training, and ongoing development
- Conduct supervisions and contribute to staff appraisals
- Lead by example and promote a positive and professional team culture
Compliance & Quality
- Maintain compliance with standards set by the Care Quality Commission and internal policies
- Support audits, inspections, and quality monitoring processes
- Ensure all records and documentation are accurate and up to date
- Report incidents, safeguarding concerns, and risks appropriately
Health & Safety & Manual Handling
- Ensure a safe environment for service users, staff, and visitors
- Follow and promote infection prevention and control procedures
- Support and implement risk assessments and emergency plans
- Ensure safe moving and handling practices in line with training and policy
- Monitor staff competence in manual handling and safe working practices
Medication
- Support safe administration, storage, and management of medication
- Monitor medication records and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
Communication
- Communicate effectively with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
- Support the handling of feedback and complaints in a professional and timely manner
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working in domiciliary or residential care
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, or currently working towards it (Level 5 desirable)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- A caring and empathetic approach, with a commitment to delivering high quality care

Development Opportunity
- If you are passionate and committed, we will support you to complete your Level 5 Diploma in Adult Social Care, subject to agreed conditions
