DRIVER - GUIDE > ISLE OF SKYE
Due to an exciting period of growth and the tour season looming we are looking for two experienced highly professional Driver/Guides to join our award-winning team and show people what the Isle of Skye really has to offer.
Responsibilities:
- Your role as Driver / Guide will be to lead a 22 seater minibus tour across the Isle of Skye while consistently delivering a memorable and enriching experience that will become a memory to be cherished
- Deliver relevant tour information to customers in an appropriate manner, including historical, cultural, social and local information
- Host events and lead ‘off vehicle’ activities such as walks and walking tours as part of the tour programme
- Actively encourage feedback from customers through preferred channels
- Conduct vehicle inspection checks
- Complete all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure safe and proper use of all equipment and materials in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations
- Undertake basic maintenance and repairs to vehicles as instructed
- Display a pride and passion for Scotland and what it has to offer.
- Demonstrate an appetite and enthusiasm for learning and continually developing your wide-ranging cultural, historical and social knowledge
- Ability to communicate and entertain people from all over the world.
- Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements:
- UK driving license
- You will need the following license: D
- CPC card
- Digital Tachograph Card

- Guide and lead small groups on tours
- Complete on a daily basis all vehicle safety checks and legal documentation.
- Be able to use your own initiative and problem solving skills to provide a seamless service to passengers.
- To follow our environmental policies and encourage customers to enjoy their holidays in accordance with our sustainable tourism practices.
- Provide constructive feedback to continuously improve the quality of the tours.
