This is an exciting opportunity to join our exceptional Bright Futures Team at our brand-new specialist school in Salford.
Building on the success of our two highly regarded specialist schools in St Helens and Lymm, we are expanding our high-quality educational offer across the North West.
Our mission is to provide a pupil-centred, personalised education for pupils aged 5-19 with Autism, learning disabilities, and other complex needs. We provide a calm, nurturing and safe environment where every child feels valued, supported and a true sense of belonging.

The Role
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a meaningful difference and improving outcomes for all pupils.
As a (Senior) Learning Mentor, you will:

Play a key role in creating a positive and supportive learning environment
-
Provide tailored, individualised support to pupils
-
Encourage the development of essential life and learning skills
-
Support pupils to reach their full potential.
Working under the direction of the Class Teacher, you will undertake all general day-to-day activities with pupils in the classroom, ensuring every pupil's individual needs are met.

You will play an integral role in supporting both pupils and the wider school community, undertaking a range of learning support and general duties.
A comprehensive induction and training programme will be provided to support your success in the role.
You must demonstrate that you meet all of the essential experience, knowledge and personal qualities criteria on the person specification, using practical examples.

Please note: this role is term-time only and the salary is as stated (i.e. not pro rata). Annual leave must be taken during school closure periods.
