Job Title: Senior IFA Administrator / Paraplanner
Location: Barnet - Hybrid Working
Basic Salary: £35,000 - £55,000 depending on experience and qualifications
Hours: Mon - Fri - 9am - 5.00pm - but some flexible on less hours

About our client and the role:
Swarm Recruitment are partnering with a well-established Independent Wealth Management firm to recruit a Senior IFA Administrator or Paraplanner.
The firm provides highly personalised financial planning to individuals, families, and business owners, and prides itself on a collaborative, supportive culture.
This role will involve producing high-quality, compliant reports and technical analysis to support advisers in delivering tailored financial advice. There is also the opportunity to attend client meetings and present cashflow modelling as part of your development.
For those currently working as a Senior Administrator, there is a clear progression pathway to become a paraplanner and Level 4 qualified.
Salary & Benefits:
- Starting from £35,000 - £55,000 depending on experience and qualifications
- The higher end salary with be for experienced, qualified and chartered paraplanners

Working Hours & location:
- 9.00am - 5.00pm - flexibility to work less days/hours
- Hybrid working option of 1-2 days from home
Required Experience:
- Minimum 1 years IFA admin/Paraplanning experience
- Diploma Level 4 in Financial Planning (desirable)
- Strong knowledge across tax, pensions, investments and planning tools (e.g., cash‐flow modelling software).
- Able to work quickly and with knowledge of report writing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Produce suitability reports and supporting documentation
- Interpret adviser notes and translate into compliant recommendations
- Conduct research, fund comparisons, and product analysis
- Prepare new business submissions, switches, and client review work
- Support drawdown reviews and cashflow modelling
- Ensure all cases meet compliance and audit standards
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation
- Work closely with advisers, paraplanners, and admin teams
- Attend client meetings where appropriate
