Job Summary
Our client based in Shawbury (POSTCODE: SY4),Shropshire are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join their team.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to the handling, storage, and distribution of goods.
This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Duties
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Completion of arrival and out loading sheets for trucks arriving on site
- Scan incoming product and ensure controlled correctly
- Daily stock counts, checks and control of stock
- Ensure all products are correct to customer specifications
- Collage EDI orders onto relevant paperwork
- Completion of paperwork accurately and daily
- Update system of dispatched products
- Ensure pick notes are completed using scanning guns
- Support packhouse and packaging departments when needed
- Booking transport for daily orders
- General housekeeping
Experience
- Must have a valid FLT License ( Counterbalance)
- Proven ability to operate under tight deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Numerate, literate and accurate
- Excellent communicator
- Hours of work/ Pay:
5 days a week Monday to Friday only
- No weekends
- 7am to 5.30pm
- £13.00 ph paid weekly
