We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Class 2 HGV Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting stock from shops and institutions located across London and the South-East. This role requires excellent driving skills, and a commitment to customer service.
SALARY : £38,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 2 Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) for the purpose of collecting items from various charity shops customers and institutions, in and outside London.
- Navigate routes across London and the South-East efficiently, ensuring on-time collections.
- Provide exceptional customer service to charity shop staff, maintaining a courteous and professional demeanour at all times.
- Perform routine vehicle checks to ensure the HGV's safety and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
- Adhere to all relevant traffic regulations and company policies for safe and responsible driving.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of collection processes and suggest enhancements to optimize efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class 2 HGV license (Category C).
- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
