Make a difference every day as a Laundry Assistant at Hafod. Working alongside the wider care home team, you will take responsibility for ensuring all laundry duties are carried out to a high standard. Your work plays an essential role in supporting residents’ comfort, dignity and wellbeing..

This is a part time 21 hrs job oppurtunity.
Some of our homes may have limited public transport links, and some shifts start early or finish late. You’ll therefore need reliable transport to and from work.
What you’ll be doing
Carry out laundering and cleaning of residents’ clothing, bedding and other items
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety within the laundry environment
Monitor laundry equipment and report any faults
Ensure adequate stock of laundry consumables and maintain records
Store cleaning products safely in line with COSHH requirements
Support residents who wish to participate in laundry activities
Work as part of the wider team, attending training and meetings as required
Follow health and safety, data protection and organisational policies

Previous laundry or domestic experience is helpful but not essential. Full training will be provided to support you in the role.
