About the role:
Justteachers are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and committed Primary Teaching Assistant to join a lovely school in King's Lynn, this role is on a long term supply basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves helping children thrive and wants to play a meaningful role in their learning journey.
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with class teachers to support pupils across the curriculum, provide targeted small‑group or one‑to‑one support, and help create a positive, engaging classroom environment where every child feels valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting teaching and learning across the primary age range.
- Helping to deliver high‑quality lessons and activities.
- Providing one‑to‑one or small‑group support where needed.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
- Assisting with classroom organisation and preparation.
Pre-requisites:
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach.
- Two education or school based references.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Must have a clear enhanced DBS or be willing to apply for one.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning.
- Experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
- Willingness to learn and take part in training.
