PSHCE Teacher – SEMH School

We are currently recruiting for a qualified PSHCE Teacher to join a specialist SEMH school in Dorking from September .
This is an excellent opportunity to work with children and young people with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs , delivering engaging PSHCE lessons while promoting wellbeing, resilience, and personal development in a supportive specialist setting.
The role will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging PSHCE lessons
- Supporting pupils with SEMH and additional SEND needs
- Promoting emotional wellbeing, resilience, and life skills
- Adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs
- Working closely with pastoral teams and other professionals to support pupil progress
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching PSHCE, or relevant experience delivering a similar curriculum
- Experience working with pupils with SEMH and/or SEND
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach
Training and ongoing support will be provided.
