We are currently looking to recruit hard-working, multi-skilled Grounds Maintenance Operative to support our national contracts.

It is a varied position that involves working on a range of contracts across the country, so flexibility is essential. While much of the work is team-based, there will be times when independent work is required.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills when interacting with clients and members of the public and will uphold a professional attitude in all aspects of their work. We are currently seeking Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our growing team based in Dumfries. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a rapidly expanding company, working with brand-new vans and high-spec equipment across a diverse range of commercial and residential sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating Scag stand-on and ride-on mowers, along with other professional grounds maintenance equipment
- Grass cutting, strimming, hedge cutting, weed control and other general grounds maintenance tasks
- Safe and effective application of herbicides and pesticides (PA1 & PA6 licenses essential)
- Working to high standards of health and safety
- Travelling between sites as required (company vehicles provided)
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- PA1 and PA6 spraying licenses (essential)
- Lantra certificates (preferred)
- Proven experience using Scag stand-on and ride-on mowers
- Previous experience working for a professional grounds maintenance company (essential)
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
