MORNING PERSONAL ASSISTANT (NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED) – £17.05 PER HOUR

AskJules is recruiting a Personal Assistant on behalf of a friendly and motivated university student based in Weymouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a young person in achieving their goals and maintaining their independence while studying at university.
No previous care experience is required as full training will be provided.

About our client
Our client is entering his third year studying Health, Nutrition and Exercise Science at university. He has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and Crohn's disease and uses a wheelchair full-time.
He is friendly, sociable, and has a great sense of humour. His interests include football, Formula 1, baking, board games, Star Wars, cinema trips, and following AFC Bournemouth. He also plays powerchair football and enjoys keeping active and involved in a wide range of activities.
This role focuses on supporting him with his morning routine and helping him start his day comfortably and independently.
About the role
As a Morning Personal Assistant, you will support our client with various aspects of his morning routine, including:
· Personal care
· Showering, washing and dressing
· Toileting support
· Assisting with medication
· Preparing breakfast
· Safe use of a hoist (full training provided)
· Supporting with hand exercises and mobility equipment where required
You will play an important role in helping our client maintain his independence and continue pursuing his studies and interests.
