As a Principal Pricing Development Analyst, you’ll take on a key technical position within our Head Office Pricing division, helping to drive innovation, explore new techniques and improve pricing performance.
Sitting within our Pricing Development team of around eight specialists, you’ll complete behavioural modelling, and research, development and innovation tasks across the full pricing lifecycle, acting as a technical expert, supporting the development and implementation of new pricing models and rating approaches that directly influence business outcomes.
You’ll design, build and continually improve models and analytics, using advanced statistical techniques and data science methods. At the same time, you’ll take ownership of model performance and monitoring, as well as quality control processes and data integrity, ensuring outputs remain accurate, compliant and effective for decision making.
This role will be aligned to our Stratford-upon-Avon offices – with the expectation that you will spend 20% of your time onsite, and up to 80% working from home.
You’re an experienced Data Science and/or Modelling professional with strong technical expertise (ideally within Pricing) and a track record of delivering high quality analytical solutions within a corporate environment such as Financial Services. You’re confident leading complex work, influencing stakeholders & peers, and supporting others to develop, showcasing your own strong, learning mindset

- Proven experience in pricing and/or data science modelling within a corporate setting (ideally Financial Services / Insurance)
- Strong technical capability in data analysis and modelling, including tools such as SQL, Python or R
- Experience designing and developing models and translating outputs into clear business insights
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence decision making
- A proactive approach to problem solving, innovation and continuous improvement
- Inquisitive and creative nature, matched with the ability to adapt successfully to a range of situations and problems
