Job role: Electrical Engineer - Balers / Compactors / Processing Machinery
Basic Salary £42,000 - 39 Hours a week
Expected Yearly Earnings £55,000 +
Overtime + Paid Travel
Fully Expensed Company Van
Shift: Monday - Friday - DAYS - 8am - 5pm / Friday Half Day
We have partnered with a leading innovator in manufacturing of baler and compactors used within manufacturing industries, who due to continued success are looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer.
Successful candidates will have an engineering / technical background, Either Mechanical or Electrically biased within - Heavy Engineering, Plant Equipment, Welding, Manufacturing, FMCG, Food Processing, Packaging, Recycling etc.
The main responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer will include.
- Ensuring plant equipment functioning in the correct manner - Balers, Compactors, Shredding machinery.
- Maintaining all equipment on site, such as conveyors, pumps, motors, robotics, gearboxes, and valves.
- Installation of machinery onsite.
- Welding / Fabrication
- Maintaining all mechanical and electrical process equipment.
- Fault finding and diagnostics.
- Following a PPM schedule and recording follow up work.
- Ensuring appropriate housekeeping standards are maintained on a daily basis.
- Continually developing to improve operations to drive improvements in quality, cost and safety.
